Calling all Hubbard Parents, Grandparents and Friends….now is the time to“Team Up” and join Hubbard Middle School’s PTA!
Why should you join?
By joining PTA you can help make 2011-2012 a productive and exciting school year at HMS. Hubbard PTA coordinates and contributes to countless activities and events. Some of the things you will help make possible are the annual Hubbard Hot Dog Supper, teacher appreciation activities, grade level socials and parent education programs. Each year the PTA hopes to donate to staff members to help acquire needed materials or equipment. PTA also helps coordinate volunteers throughout the school year for various events and helps to produce the newsletter, student directory and yearbook.
What are the incentives for joining Hubbard PTA?
If you join by September 30, 2011, your child will receive a voucher for “Blue Jean Friday.” The Fridays in October, students will be able to wear jeans. When the membership drive is complete, your student will receive membership cards and the blue jean voucher. If you have more than one student at Hubbard, each student will receive his/her own voucher.
How do I join:
Fill out the attached envelope and make sure to include the name of the Advisory teacher on the envelope…don’t forget to enclose your money (checks made out to “Hubbard PTA”). It’s that easy!
Is there a deadline to join and how much are dues?
You can join anytime throughout the school year, but to qualify for “Blue Jean Fridays” you need to turn in your envelope and money by September 30th. Regular dues are $6.50 per person.
